Nicht von ungefähr erinnern Willy Moralts genrehafte Darstellungen an das Werk seines Großonkels Carl Spitzweg. Auch in der Lichtführung ließ er sich von seinem Vorbild inspirieren. So fällt auch bei vorliegendem Werk das Licht vor allem auf den Mittelgrund und rückt das betende Mädchen ins Zentrum. Mit leichtem Craquelé und mit Retuschen.
