Aus der Folge von 10 Bll. “Ten Portraits of Jews of the Twentieth Century 1980”. Das Portfolio entstand auf Anregung des New Yoker Galeristen Feldman. Ausgangspunkt für Warhols Siebdrucke waren bekannte Portraitfotografien jüdischer Geistesgrößen, wie Albert Einstein, Martin Buber, Franz Kafka oder Sigmund Freud. Das Blatt “Marx Brothers” zeigt als einziges mehr Personen. Durch ein spezielles Druckverfahren und seine Farbauswahl brachte Warhol die jeweilige Persönlichkeit der Portraitierten, aber auch den Charakter ihres Werkes treffend zum Ausdruck. Gedruckt bei Ronald Feldman Fine Arts, Inc., New York, und Jonathan A. Editions, Tel Aviv, Israel.
