Description
In seinen realistischen Darstellungen erfasst Malnovitzer seine Umwelt und gibt sie – emotional angereichert – wieder. So taucht er hier das Café in ein sonniges, gelbliches Licht, in dem man die geborgene Wärme und kultivierte Ruhe zu spüren meint. Malnovitzer nahm zwischen 1977 und 1981 an Ernst Fuchs’ Künstlerseminaren in Reichenau bei Wien teil. Das Werk entstand wohl in diesem Zeitraum. In sehr gutem Originalzustand.
