Nummerierung wie folgt: Halbtitel /Zeichnung) mit “1/5” nummeriert; Serigraphien und Impressum jeweiils mit “10/25” nummeriert. Schönes, verlagsfrisches Exemplar der interessanten Folge, die während der Gastprofessur von Ilja Kabakow im Wintersemester 1992/93 und im Sommersemester 1993 an der Städelschule entstand. Seine erste Einzelausstellung fand 1995 in der Galerie Dina Vierny in Paris statt. Seitdem hat er in Museen weltweit ausgestellt. “Ten Characters is an installation consisting of two large, communal apartments, wich include hallways and kitchens. Ten tenants inhabit these apartments, each in his or her room, and each one has developed a very distinct personality. For example, one wants to travel in space and has built a vehicle for this purpose.
