Description
Darstellung, die von der heftigen und sehr impulsiven Malweise des Künstlers zeugt, der zu den Protagonisten des Wiener Aktionismus zählt. Ab den 70er Jahren entwirft der Künstler so genannte Bild-Dichtungen, in denen er narrative Elemente mit gestisch-expressiven Formen verbindet. Dies trifft auch auf vorliegendes Werk zu, bei dem ein schlangenartiges Wesen im linken Vordergrund den Bildaufbau bestimmt und auf die Stadtsilhouette im Hintergrund verweist.
Wohl durch den künstlerischen Entstehungsprozess mit mehreren Einrissen und minimalen Papierfehlstellen, teilweise hinterlegt. Oben mit Spuren früherer Montage.
