Description
Nach einem mehrjährigen Paris-Aufenthalt ging Stuckenberg 1912 nach Berlin, wo er 1916 von Herwarth Walden entdeckt, unter Vertrag genommen und in den “Sturm”-Kreis integriert wurde. Zahlreiche “Sturm”-Ausstellungen belegen seinen Stellenwert in der damaligen künstlerischen Szene. Kaum merklich gebräunt und minimal stockfleckig, leicht berieben.
Provenienz: Dr. Heinrich Stinnes, verso mit dem Sammlerstempel (Lugt 1376 a) und hs. Bezeichnungen von der Hand des Sammlers.
