Description
Verso auf der Pressspanplatte signiert, datiert und betitelt. Dieses Werk zeigt Ackermanns Kunst noch zwischen der gegenständlichen Malerei und der Abstraktion. In den abstrakten Farbflächen scheint der Einfluss seines Lehrers Adolf Hoelzels besonders greifbar. Doch aus den Flächen und Kurven entstehen zwei stehende Figuren, die sich in fast religiöser Andacht zu einer sitzenden Frau beugen. Erst unter dem Einfluss des Krieges verschrieb Ackermann sich fest der abstrakten Kunst. Fest in den Rahmen montiert. In sehr gutem Zustand.
