Alte Zuschreibung.
Glink, ursprünglich als Schnitzer ausgebildet, studierte ab 1814 Malerei an der Münchner Akademie und konnte 1823 mit einem Reisestipendium Rom besuchen. Die religiöse Malerei im Geist der Nazarener blieb danach sein Hauptbetätigungsfeld. Mit einem kleinen Riss in der linken oberen Ecke und vereinzelten Stockfleckchen. Verso mit Montageresten.
Provenienz: Sammlung H. W. Campe, Leipzig, rechts unten mit dem Trockenstempel (Lugt 1391).
