Dillis hatte einen natürlichen Zugang zu dem in der zeitgenössischen Kunst eher seltenen Thema Jagd und Jäger: sein Großvater und sein Vater sowie einige seiner Brüder und Schwäger waren Förster und Jäger. Mit leichten Gebrauchspuren, sonst in gutem Zustand.
