Description
Idyllische Genreszene in der Manier Pieter Brueghels d. Ä. Die Landschaft ist in einem feinen Duktus und schöner Tiefenstaffelung komponiert. Im Vordergrund sitzt eine Gruppe von Bauern vor ihren Häusern und erholt sich nach getaner Arbeit. Unterdessen ist links im Bild ein Schäfer noch damit beschäftigt, seine Herde zusammenzutreiben. Umlaufend im Randbereich durch die Rahmung leicht betrieben. Mit kleineren Austupfern im mittleren Haus und im Gesicht der auf dem Pferd sitzenden Frau. Ansonsten altersgemäß gut erhalten.
