Description
Gestisch bewegte Arbeit in dunkler, warmer Farbigkeit, in der die helleren Farbakzente eine große Leuchtkraft entfalten. Durch die Beimischung von Sand erhält das Bl. einen ausdrucksvollen Materialcharakter. Dabei zeugen die kalligraphischen Elemente von Tobeys Auseinandersetzung mit den japanischen sumi-e Tuschezeichnungen, die bereits 1957 begonnen hatte. – Auf dünnen Karton montiert. In guter Erhaltung.
