Description
Cavael, der 1979 in München verstarb, gehörte zu den wenigen Künstlern seiner Generation, die von Beginn an abstrakte Kunst konzipierten. Die hier vorliegende Arbeit ist charakteristisch für Cavaels OEuvre der frühen 50er Jahre und besticht durch ihre dezente Farb- und rythmische Formgebung. Im Randbereich leicht nachgedunkelt; unten Mitte mit minimalen Craqueléspuren; verso ölfleckig und umlaufend im Passepartout montiert. Insgesamt von gutem Gesamteindruck.
