Description
Das Blatt steht in engem Zusammenhang mit einem sehr ähnlichen Aquarell, das in dem Standardwerk “G.G. Berlin – New York” auf S. 191 abgebildet ist. Grosz hat in allen Phasen seines Schaffens auch erotische und pornographische Blätter geschaffen. Während die politische Kunst schon bald nach dem Krieg rehabilitiert und einer breiten Öffentlichkeit bekannt gemacht wurde, blieb dieses andere Genre noch lange Zeit unter Verschluss.
