In feinen Strichen ausgearbeitete Darstellung des bedeutendsten Vertreters der romantischen Richtung in der Berliner Malerei. Bei der Darstellung handelt es sich wohl um eine Szene des “Zauberrings” von Friedrich de la Motte Fouqué. Verso bezeichnet: “Diner champêtre en moyen age”. Unten links über der Signatur mit einer Widmung. Alt aufgelegt, in der linken oberen Ecke mit einer kleinen Papierverletzung sowie leicht stockfleckig, ansonsten von schönem Farbeindruck.
