Arbeit der Katsukawa-Schule, frühere Zuschreibung an Shunsho, mit Hinweis auf ein verwandtes Motiv Utamaros. Das schwarze kazugi der Kurtisane verdeckt das Gesicht des Mannes wie ein transparenter Schleier. Druck gut, graugründig, teils mit karazuri. Mittelfalte, vereinzelt mit kleinen, restaurierten Wurmgängen; rechts am Rand kleiner Braunfleck, an der Kante leicht nachgedunkelt.
