Malerische, nach der Tracht der Frauen zu urteilen wohl süditalienische Landschaft, die durch die klaren Linien und die schönen Lichteffekte auf dem Wasser einen ruhigen, meditativen Charakter erhält. Freytag hielt sich von 1853 bis 1855 in Italien auf. Mit fachmännisch restaurierten Löchlein in den Ecken. Schwach gebräunt.
