Description
Bildmäßige, in feinem, flüssigem Duktus ausgeführte Komposition. Unten rechts mit der Ortsbezeichnung “Florence”. Diese frühe Federzeichnung des Künstlers entstand, nachdem Epinat 1784 seinem Lehrer Thoinet de Bigny für fünf Jahre nach Rom folgte und er sich daraufhin in Neapel und Florenz aufhielt, bevor er 1800 nach Frankreich zurückkehrte. Alt aufgelegt und mit einer Einfassungslinie in schwarzer Feder auf blauem Papier. Vereinzelt kaum merklich stockfleckig, ansonsten in gutem Zustand.
