Wie auch die nächsten zwei Bll. eine spiegelverkehrte Darstellung als Illustration zum ersten Teil von Christian Fürchtegott Gellerts “Fabeln und Erzählungen”, 1763 gestochen von Rodes Schüler Christian Gottfried Matthes. Die Zeichnung zeigt, wie der Sohn den Schatz im Schlafzimmer des Vaters findet: ” Die Wahrheit … die uns, als Menschen, glücklich macht, ward … nur leicht verdeckt; nicht tief vergraben.” Auf die Zierunterlage aufgelegt. Etwas fleckig und mit Quetschfältchen, sonst in gutem Zustand.
