Description
Duquesnoy war berühmt für seine anmutigen, sanften Kinderdarstellungen. Auch hier besticht die Zeichnung durch die zarte Ausführung mit den weichen Rundungen. Am linken Rand mit kurzen, restaurierten Einrissen. Besonders verso etwas fleckig.
Provenienz: wohl Charles Henri Marcellis, Liege, recto mit dem Sammlerstempel (Lugt 609 b), Ludwig Pollak, Rom, recto mit dem Sammlerstempel (Lugt 788 b); Sammlung Haldi, recto mit dem Stempel (nicht bei Lugt).
