Description
In Rousseau vereinen sich zwei konträre Naturen: auf der einen Seite eine Seele, von dem Symbolismus der Poesie und der Musik verführt, auf der anderen Seite ein Mann, der im Raum Menschen in Fleisch und Blut ausdrücken will. Dieser Gegensatz verdeutlicht sich hier in der angestrengten Weise, in der sich der athletische Körper tief über die Maske beugt und die Verbindung zu Beethoven, dem ultimativen Symbol der Musik, sucht.
Mit sehr wenigen Oberflächenbereibungen, der Sockel an den Rändern sehr leicht bestossen, sonst in sehr gutem Zustand.
