Description
Humorvolle, frühe Illustrationsvorlage, wohl für den “Ulk” oder für “Lustige Blätter”. Feininger war von 1894 bis Februar 1898 Mitarbeiter des “Ulk” in Berlin. Mit Bleistift- sowie Deckweißeinfassung. Links unten mit Vermerk “706/97” zur Veröffentlichung bezeichnet, verso mit längerer persönlicher Widmung: “Edmund/Du warst am 24sten August /1898/ bei/ mir und wir haben zusammen/Fliegen, sowohl wie Grillen, gefangen/Dieses Bild zum Andenken dran./Leo.” Verso leicht fleckig und gegilbt.
