Description
Zarte, impressionistische Komposition einer abendlichen Stimmung auf dem Land in der Normandie. Die Darstellung wird belebt durch eine Bauersfrau in der Bildmitte, die auf einem Feldweg nach Hause geht. Links und rechts von ihr stehen große Heuhaufen auf dem Feld. Der kurze Pinselstrich ist locker und duftig und lässt die abendliche Luft vibrieren. Mit einem Kratzer über dem Baum, ansonsten in sehr gutem Zustand.
