Description
Bartsch 111; Meder 225 a (von d); Schoch/Mende/Scherbaum 138 a (von d).
Hervorragend schöner, tiefschwarzer Druck, wie immer bei Frühdrucken stellenweise in der Felspartie etwas überschwärzt. Teilweise etwas knapp an der Einfassungslinie geschnitten, mit Resten früherer Montage verso, sonst von einwandfreier Frische und Gesamterhaltung. In solcher Qualität und Provenienz sehr selten.
Provenienz: Doublette des British Museum, London (Lugt 301) mit dem Veräußerungsstempel (Lugt 305). Verso mit älterer hs. Widmung in Bleistift.
