Zuschreibung.
Zart ausgeführte manieristische Zeichnung des Künstlers, der vor allem als Architekt und Bildhauer tätig war und 1575 den Sarkophag von Papst Paul III. schuf. Die Zuschreibung beruht auf den von Crispian Riley-Smith veröffentlichten Hinweisen von Hugo Chapman und Rhoda Eitel-Porter.
Alt aufgelegt. Leicht fleckig und mit Randmängeln.
Provenienz: Sammlung Heinrich Beckmann, Bremen, rechts unten mit dem Stempel (Lugt 2756a). Am unteren Rand mit weiterem alten hs. Sammlervermerk (Lt. Riley-Smith “The Double-Numbering Collector”).
