Sheet 10 of a series of overall 14 sheets: Passion. Splendid, deeply black trial proof without the writing. A strongly printing impression, clearly showing all the details.

Bl. 10 aus einer Folge von insgesamt 14 Bll.: Die Passion. Hervorragend zeichnender Abdruck mit allen Merkmalen eines Probedrucks allem Text. Außerhalb der Einfassungslinie geschnitten. In der oberen rechten Ecke minimal braunfleckig, ansonsten in sehr gutem Zustand.
Provenienz: Aus der Sammlung Dr. W.A. Ackermann, Lübeck und Dresden, 1793-1865, verso mit dem Stempel (Lugt 791); aus der Sammlung K. E. von Liphart, Dorpat, Bonn und Florenz 1808 – 1891, verso mit dem Stempel (Lugt 1687), verso mit einem weiteren nicht identifizierten Sammlerstempel (Lugt 846).
Literatur: Im Ausstellungskatalog der Slg. Liphart von C. G. Boerner in Leipzig vom April 1894 unter der Nummer 1868 aufgeführt und mit ‘vorzüglicher Abdruck vor dem Text’ ausgezeichnet.
