Description
1884-1887 studierte Úprka in München, bevor er sich nach verschiedenen Auslandsaufenthalten 1894 wieder in seiner mährischen Heimat niederließ. Der Künstler wählte häufig Themen aus dem tschechischen Volksleben, mit Darstellungen der Menschen mit ihren Bräuchen und farbenfrohen Trachten.
Doubliert. Vereinzelt mit kleinen Retuschen. Ein kleiner Farbverlust am linken unteren Rand.
