Gerke erwähnt im Werkverzeichnis 3 bekannte Exemplare. Das Motiv der hockenden Frau mit den angezogenen Beinen geht auf eine verlorene Florentiner Fassung zurück, wurde im Mainzer Atelier modelliert und schließlich in Frankfurt gegossen. Gerke verweist auf “die Studie einer Sitzenden von 1952 (…) der gegenüber die Bronze streng stilisiert und zu höchster künstlerischer Intensität gesteigert ist”. Er hebt die “schlanken Proportionen”und “die innere und äußere Spannung des Körpers” hervor.
