Sensibles Bildnis, das in der feinen Modellierung der Züge an Leibl denken lässt. Gerhardinger setzt ganz auf den Kontrast zwischen dem warmen Ton des Inkarnats und dem Weiß des Schleiers mit seinen Schatten, die ihm in zarten Nuancen zwischen Blau und Violett Plastizität verleihen.
Verso auf dem Originalrahmen wohl eigenhändig nochmals signiert und betitelt. Mit kleinen Bereibungen unter dem Rahmen, sonst sehr gut erhalten.
