Description
Die Anzahl der Portraits, die Cocteau geschaffen hat, ist sehr groß. Oft sind diese Zeichnungen äußerst stilisiert und geschönt, mit arabeskenhaftem Lockenschmuck oder fast karikaturhaft überzeichneten Profilen. Anders der Portraitkopf von “Diehters”, der auf dem dünnen Hals – einem Ausstellungsstück ähnlich – präsentiert wird. Es handelt sich um ein mit wenigen Umriss- und Schattierungsstrichen gezeichnetes Portrait ohne jede Stilisierung. Es wäre interessant, zu erfahren, wer der Dargestellte war. Die Blattecken minimal knittrig, sonst in sehr guter Erhaltung.
