Katharina Wieland

Director Prints (15th – 19th century)

Katharina Wieland has been head of the Prints Department (15th to 19th century) at Karl & Faber Kunstauktionen since 2021. She has been with the company since 2004 as an expert in Old Masters as well as Modern and Contemporary Art.
She has worked in the art trade since 2002, in Munich for Galerie Thomas as well as for art matters and Walter Storms Galerie. In London, she completed a traineeship at Sotheby’s (Old Master Department) and Christie’s (Impressionist Department).
