Dr. Rupert Keim, LL.M., has been managing partner and publicly appointed and sworn auctioneer of Karl & Faber Kunstauktionen since 2009. He and his family took over the company in 2003.
Since 2017, Dr. Rupert Keim has been a member of the Expert Committee for Cultural and Archival Property of the Free State of Bavaria and, since 2016, President of the Bundesverband Deutscher Kunstversteigerer e. V. (Federal Association of German Art Auctioneers) as well as Second Chairman of the Friends of the Central Institute for Art History, CONIVNCTA FLORESCIT.
From 2013 to 2018 he was a member of the board of trustees of the association Freunde Haus der Kunst, most recently as chairman. From 2010 to 2016, he followed a teaching assignment at the Faculty of History and Art Studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich.
