Descrizione
At the end of the 1920s, Heckel travelled to southern France and northern Spain, where he primarily worked with the watercolour technique. Heckel captured the wild, rugged landscape of the Pyrenees with its remote valleys and mountains powerfully and expressively, as in the present work.
