Descrizione
Sheet 68 from the series: Los Caprichos. Excellent early black impression from the first edition with the number and the lettering. Before the faceting of the plate edges and still with the clearly recognisable aquatint. From an edition for the Calcografia first published in 1799. Wide margins and with pin-sized holes in the left margin. – Isolated, barely perceptible foxmarks. The lower right corner with creases. Four minor defects to the paper at the upper edge, three of which backed on the reverse. The upper right and left corners abraded, otherwise in fine condition.
