Landscape with sun. Woodcut on yellow paper. (19)16. C. 30 : 36 cm (sheet c. 42.5 : 60 cm). Signed lower right and inscribed “162” on the lower margin.
The number “162” points to the fact that this woodcut was printed by the artist in 1916 as the second woodcut on the hand press belonging to the printer Fritz Voigt. The edition comprised 25 to 30 impressions at the most.

Die Nummer “162” besagt, dass der Holzschnitt 1916 als 2. Holzschnitt im Eigendruck auf der Handpresse des Druckers Fritz Voigt hergestellt wurde. Die Auflagenhöhe ist nicht bekannt, liegt aber höchstens bei 25 bis 30 Exemplaren. Wenige winzige Fleckchen am linken Blattrand. Die Blattkanten teils minimal knittrig. Insgesamt schöner kräftiger Druck in bester Erhaltung. Sehr selten.
