Wolfgang Hutter, einer der Hauptvertreter der “Wiener Schule des Phantastischen Realismus”, trat 1974 seine Professur an der Wiener Hochschule für angewandte Kunst an. In diesem Jahr entstand das vorliegende Bild, das viele wichtige Motive des Künstlers vereint. Das Motiv der “Augen” spielt in den 70er Jahren eine besondere Rolle in seinem Werk, auch die Metamorphose von Figur und Landschaft ist ein häufig wiederkehrendes Thema. In sehr guter Erhaltung.
