Description
Probably a sketch for the Cicerone on the watercolour “Engländer, Ruinen betrachtend” (Wichmann 119). – Slightly yellowed in the former mount. The lower right corner as well as the lower left margin area supplemented with firm Japon, also a loss in the right margin. A 7.8 cm closed tear, starting from the upper margin and extending to the man’s right arm. In good condition according to age.
