Description

Spitzweg captured the peasant boy holding his hat with both hands and looking seriously to the side a second time in a drawing dated to the same day (cf. Hugo Helbing, Munich, auction, 9 April 1908, lot 26). – Barely noticeable spotting in places, otherwise in very good condition.
