Description

Preliminary study for the painting La Madonna con il Bambino appare a S. Domenico, private collection, Bologna (cf. Filippo Maria Ferro, Nuvolone: una famiglia di pittori nella Milano del ‘600, Soncino 2003, p. 170, cat. no. cf 15, fig. 6d, p. 324). – Some minor water damage and brown stains. The paper slightly thinned and with traces of former mounting along the edges. In good condition considering its age.
