Description

Holzdruckstock zu: Jacobum Feuchthium. Postilla Catholica Evangeliorum de Sanctis totius Anni. Das ist: Catholische Außlegung aller Fest und Feyertäglichen Evangelien durch das gantze Jar. Gedruckt durch Gervinus Calenus (tätig um 1578-1588) und Johann Quentel Erben (tätig um 1578-1580), 1580 in Köln. Der Holzduckstock beschreibt das Gleichnis vom “verlorenen Schaf oder vom guten Hirten” (Johannes 10, 1-15). – Verso mit einem Abzug des Holzschnitts auf Bütten. An der linken Einfassungslinie oben ein kleiner Ausbruch, ansonsten in gutem Zustand. Selten!
