Description
Blatt 11 aus der Folge: Die Kupferstich-Passion. Brillanter, tiefschwarzer Frühdruck in einem gleichmäßigen, gegensatzreichen Abzug. Auf die Plattenkante geschnitten. Dieser Schmerzensmann entspricht Dürers Formensprache früher Darstellungen. Mit wehendem, lockigem Haar und flatterndem Lendentuch sowie der kraftvolle Körper Christus stehen für den Triumph über den Tod und kündigen die Auferstehung an. – Überwiegend verso winzige Braunfleckchen, ansonsten schön erhaltenes Exemplar.
