Description
Stilistisch lässt sich das Blatt sehr gut mit einer Zeichnung in den Uffizien “Ansicht von Impruneta” (Inv.-Nr. 228 P) vergleichen (abgebildet in: Christel Thiem, Florentiner Zeichner des Frühbarock, München 1977, Kat.-Nr. 121). Cantagallina war Schüler und Mitarbeiter Giulio Parigis. Von großer Bedeutung für ihn war der künstlerische Austausch mit Jaques Callot in den Jahren 1612-1620. – Linke obere Ecke ergänzt, minimal wasserrandig, ansonsten schön.
