Description
Dem mit 22kt-Blattgold gefüllten Tisch liegt ein Modell von Yves Klein von 1961 zugrunde. Nach dem Tod des Künstlers beginnt seine Witwe Rotraut Klein-Moquay 1963 mit der Herausgabe einer unlimitierten Edition, für die sie die drei wichtigsten in Yves Kleins Œuvre vorkommenden Farben verwendet: Neben dem kostbaren und opulenten, ästhetisch überaus anziehenden Blattgold dienen auch das berühmt gewordene Pigment des Künstlers, das “IKB International Klein Blue” sowie ein sattes Pink als Füllung.
