Description
Braun schreibt im Werkverzeichnis dazu: “Einer jener Akte, die auf dreieckigem Grundriß in eben dieser Form straff aufgebaut sind. Das verschlungene, nach innen gewandte Bewegungsmotiv durchaus lyrisch in der Wirkung, jedoch ohne einen Hauch von Sentimentalität. Die Bezeichnung ‚Beschaulichkeit‘ überzeugt, ist indes wohl nicht von Klimsch vorgenommen. (…) Die Datierung ergibt sich – wenigstens als terminus ante quem – aus der Tatsache, daß in diesem Jahr ein Neffe Klimschs ein Exemplar erwarb.”
