Indian ink on fine cardboard. (Ca. 1916). Ca. 14.5 x 7 cm. Signed lower right. With a dedication by the artist and an Indian ink drawing of a fallen horse on the reverse.

Description

Diese kleine private Zeichnung zählt vermutlich zum sogenannten “Marianneum”, der Sammlung des mit Kubin befreundeten Ehepaares Marianne Grafe (1892-1951) und Felix Grafe (1882-1942). Die Widmung des Künstlers bezieht sich somit wohl auf die Geburt von deren Sohn Innozenz im Januar 1916.
