Kühn aufgefasste Himmelstudie, in flüssigen und breiten, pastosen Pinselschwüngen gearbeitet. Über der schmalen Landschaftssilhouette aus Bäumen und Buschwerk erhebt sich der Himmelsraum, von der einsetzenden Abendröte in luftige Pastelltöne getaucht.
