Martin-von-Wagner-Museum der Universität Würzburg, verso mit dem Doublettenstempel (Lugt 2541c) und recto mit dem Stempel 2650d);
Philipp Herrmann (1899 – Karlsruhe – 1968), verso mit dem Stempel (Lugt 1352a).
Description
Prachtvoller, kräftiger Frühdruck mit breitem Rand um die gratige Plattenkante und ein zarter Abzug. Wie zahlreiche in Rom tätige Künstler unterhielt auch Cantarini durch Besuche und unterschiedliche Auftraggeber regen Kontakt zu seiner Heimatstadt. Aus diesem Grund erklärt sich auch die Darstellung der Allegorie, die wohl als Frontispiz diente. – Im Rand leicht angestaubt und fleckig, ansonsten schöne Exemplare.
