Bl. 5 aus der Mappe von insgesamt 10 Bll. Gedruckt von Alexander Heinrici, New York. Herausgegeben von Seabird Editions, London, verso mit dem Stempel.
Andy Warhol und Mick Jagger verband eine Freundschaft von sich gegenseitig steigernder Popularität. Warhol entwarf die Cover für die Alben “Sticky Fingers” (1971) und “Love you Live” (1977). Als Vorlage für das Portfolio “Mick Jagger 1975” diente eine umfangreiche Folge von Fotos des Musikers. Warhol wählte aus dem reichen Motivschatz 10 Porträts aus. Anders als bei Ikonen wie Marilyn oder Jackie griff der Künstler nicht auf bereits durch die Massenmedien verbreitete Motive zurück. – Kanten kaum merklich gebräunt, stellenweise ganz leicht berieben, insgesamt sehr gut erhalten.
