Description

Das seltene Blatt in einem ausgezeichneten zarten Druck, wie bei Meder für diesen frühen Zustand beschrieben. Noch mit der ehemaligen Horizontlinie über dem linken Oberschenkel. Mit einem bis zu 8 mm breiten Rand um die Plattenkante. Dürers Schmerzensmann entstand 1512 vermutlich als erstes von drei Kaltnadelblättern – im selben Jahr wie die letzten zehn Blätter der Kupferstichpassion. – An der rechten Kante mit einem winzigen, hinterlegten Einriss. Unten rechts eine kleine Papierfehlstelle an der Kante, ansonsten in gutem Zustand. Sehr selten!
