Description
Spätere, tonige und kontrastreiche Drucke der kompletten Folge nach den von Michelangelo zwischen 1508 und 1512 in der Cappella Sistina geschaffenen Fresken. Jeweils mit der Adresse von Nicolaes van Aelst und Giovanni Giacomo de Rossi sowie mit dem Trockenstempel der Calcografia Camerale in Rom (gegründet 1738). Erschienen in einer Ausgabe nach 1823. Jeweils mit einem schönen, breiten Rand um die Plattenkante.
Vorhanden: Der Prophet Joel – Die Erythräische Sibylle – Der Prophet Ezechiel – Die Persische Sibylle – Der Prophet Jeremias – Die Delphische Sibylle. – Ein Bll. mit einem Einriss im linken Rand. Jeweils fleckig, und mit kleineren Randmängeln. Insgesamt noch gut.
