Privatbesitz, Süddeutschland (seit ca. 30 Jahren).
Description
Porträtiert ist ein Leutnant des 1821 in seiner neuen Form gegründeten und in Berlin stationierten Garde-Kürassier-Regiments. Die Uniform des Portraitierten ist auf den Zeitraum zwischen 1832 und 1843 zu datieren. An der Hose trägt er bereits eine schmale rote Biese, die 1832 den breiten roten Streifen ersetzte. Der hier zu sehende Helm wurde Anfang 1843 durch ein neues Modell ersetzt.
